Undergraduate Students

Freshman Students

Freshman are students who have graduated from high school and are coming directly to North Alabama. If you are a new freshman, you will need to create a MyUNA account to complete your admissions application. Begin your freshman application  

 

Delores and Weldon Cole Honors College Students

  1. Apply to the Cole Honors College through the UNA application.
  2. On the application, check the box indicating interest in the Delores and Weldon Cole Honors College.
  3. The Honors College application will appear in the supplemental materials section.

Transfer Undergraduate Students

Transfer students are any degree-seeking students with prior college-level work from another institution (excluding dual-enrollment). You will need to create a MyUNA account to complete your admissions application. Begin your transfer application  

 

International Undergraduate Students

International students are any students coming from outside the US. If you are a prospective international student, you may begin your international undergraduate application

International students transferring from another US institution may apply for admission by submitting an additional "Transfer In" packet. Learn how to apply as an international transfer student  

 

Transient Undergraduate Students

Transient students are those who are enrolled in a degree program at another university. If you are a transient student, you may, with the written approval of the parent institution, enroll at North Alabama. You will need to provide a letter of good standing from the college you're currently attending. Begin your transient student application  

 

Former Undergraduate Students

Former students are North Alabama students who wish to re-enroll after an absence of one or more fall/spring semesters. If you have attended another institution since you last attended North Alabama, you will need to apply as a transfer student. Begin your former student application  

 

Non-Degree Seeking Undergraduate Students

Students who wish to enroll in North Alabama courses but not earn a degree still need to apply for admission. Begin your undergraduate course application  

 

Accounting Career Completion

The accounting career completion program is open to those who have enrolled in or completed an undergraduate degree program, along with meeting the prerequisites for each course. Begin your accounting career completion application

New Graduate Students

New graduate students are any graduate degree-seeking students who hold a Bachelor's degree or higher and have never enrolled in a graduate program at UNA. Begin your new student application  

 

Former Graduate Students

Former graduate students are students who have previously been admitted to a UNA graduate program and enrolled in graduate coursework at UNA. *  Begin your former student application  

 

Transfer Graduate Students

Transfer graduate students are any graduate degree-seeking students with prior graduate-level coursework from another institution.  Begin your transfer student application  

 

International Graduate Students

International graduate students are any incoming graduate students who are not U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents. If you are a prospective graduate student, you may begin your international graduate application

Non-Degree Seeking Graduate Students

Non-degree seeking graduate students are unclassified students who wish to enroll in UNA graduate courses but not earn a graduate degree. Unclassified graduate applicants should select the "Unclassified, Non-Degree Seeking" academic program option for the appropriate college at UNA.  Begin your non-degree student application  

 

Transient Graduate Students

Transient graduate students are those who are enrolled in a graduate degree program at another institution and wish to take graduate coursework at UNA to transfer back to the parent institution. Transient students will need to provide a letter of good standing from the parent institution.
