K12 Teacher Recruitment Day

The UNA Career Center is excited to offer a new event, "K-12 Teacher Recruitment Day," to assist school systems with recruiting new graduates for their teaching positions.

While we recognize the current state of funding in many areas, we also know that the recruiting of qualified committed teachers is important to your school system. Please plan to join us on Tuesday, November 1 at 2:00 p.m. to meet with and interview prospective teachers for your system.

This is a free event, and we hope it will be a great hiring resource for you and your school(s). We do ask that you register using the form before so that appropriate accommodations can be made. If you have questions, please call us directly at 256-765-4276. Below is a tentative schedule for the afternoon:

1:00 p.m. -- 1:45 p.m. Arrive at Guillot University Center and set up your school's display (table provided, bring informational materials about your school system)
2:00 p.m. -- 4:00 p.m. Students begin arriving to talk with recruiters about potential opportunities within school systems present
5:00 p.m. K-12 Teacher Recruitment Day concludes

Another great way to recruit potential candidates is through our online recruiting system, LionJobs. Information on how to create your systems' free account can be found here.
