UNA is partnering with Numana, Inc. to package and provide 30,000 meals that will be distributed to the campus pantry and others throughout the community. Volunteers will measure the ingredients, scoop them into meal bags, weigh and seal the bags, and box the finished product.

The meals consist of rice, soy protein, freeze-dried pinto beans and a blend of vitamins and minerals targeted to help the immune system.

Event Schedule:

• 10:00am - 10:30am - Volunteer Check-In (Guillot University Center Atrium)
• 10:30am - 11:00am - Welcome and Break off into Groups
• 11:00am - 12:00pm - Pack 30,000 meals!

A volunteer t-shirt will be provided to the first 200 volunteers that check in! Lunch will also be provided following the event. This event is a great way to kick off the new semester, serve the communtiy, and get to know others on campus! UNA faculty, staff, and students are invited and encouraged to participate.
