Welcome to the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. At UNA, we boast a proud tradition when it comes to diversity and inclusion.  The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion leads the development and implementation of proactive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. The initiatives support the University’s mission and strategic plan, and the newly developed strategic diversity and inclusion plan. The Office champions the importance of a diverse and inclusive scholarly university campus community by engaging faculty, staff, and students to build a welcoming and inclusive culture at UNA. The Office is central in assessing and implementing strategies focused on recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce at UNA, designing educational and training initiatives that increase awareness and support of equity and inclusion values, and maintaining compliance with applicable laws. It is vital that the office be empowered change agents that result in a campus culture that fosters, acknowledges, and celebrates the differences and similarities that define the members of our community.
