Learning Resource Center (LRC)
The LRC is the library on the first floor of Stevens Hall, and primarily serves the College of Education students and faculty.
The Learning Resources Center maintains a variety of materials to facilitate instruction and the teaching/learning process. Curriculum materials such as courses of study, curriculum guides, methods (idea) books, elementary and secondary textbooks, accreditation reports, evaluation studies, self-studies, and sample teaching units are housed in this collection.
Children's literature, selection aids, a reference collection, bibliographies, materials on current trends in education and innovative approaches to education are included. These materials may be checked out for a two-week period.
An audiovisual collection is available for student use, including videocassettes, audiocassettes, compact discs, phonodiscs, kits, games, and others, with shorter loan periods.
The Media Center videocassette and DVD collection contains material purchased for classroom presentation and is available to students for viewing only on-site in the LRC.
All resources can be accessed through the UNA online library catalog.
