Employee Training

All employees are required to complete annual training on the following topics:

  • Harassment and Title IX
  • FERPA Compliance
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
  • IT Security*
  • CSA Training* (for those identified as Campus Security Authorities pursuant to the Clery Act, only)
*IT Security training and CSA training are not part of the Get Inclusive suite of trainings. For more information about IT Security training, contact the Help Desk at helpdesk@una.edu. For more information about CSA Training, contact UPD or visit www.una.edu/police.


Unless otherwise noted, these annual trainings will be available to all employees via a Canvas course. For more information about Canvas, please visit https://una.edu/its/canvas/index.html

All new employees will be assigned to a Canvas course to complete the required trainings upon hire. If you have a new employee who has not received notice to complete their training within their first two weeks, please contact the Office of Title IX at titleix@una.edu
