Take an Honors Class

Students with a 3.25 GPA or requisite ACT subscores (28 ACT in English for English Department classes; 27 Reading for History Department classes) can take Honors courses with the approval of the Director - a great way to get involved in a small class environment with awesome students!

Join the Honors Student Organization (HSO)

The HSO is our student led and student managed Registered Student Organization on campus. The purpose of the Honors Student Organization is to promote unity between members of the university Honors Program, students enrolled in honors courses, and students with a 3.5 GPA or better.  This organization focuses on group leadership, campus involvement, activities, and community service.  Activities of HSO include Step Sing, Homecoming, Intramurals, Lions Lend a Hand Service Day, Zombie Wars, Secret Pals, the Gatsby Formal, and much more! Big fun and great social opportunities with groovy people.
