The University of North Alabama is located on a beautiful 130-acre campus in historic Florence, Alabama and is within walking distance of downtown restaurants, shops, and businesses. UNA is located within a four-city area on the banks of the Tennessee River known as the Shoals: Florence, Tuscumbia, Muscle Shoals, and Sheffield. The Shoals is steeped in arts, culture, and entertainment—and is home to the famous Muscle Shoals sound.

The Conference

Microcosms: Fifth International Conference on Literary Juvenilia is hosted by the University of North Alabama, with support from the Office of the Vice-President Affairs and Provost, the College of Arts and Sciences, the Departments of History and English, and the UNA Centre for British Studies, as well as Juvenilia Press (UNSW, Sydney, Australia).

Last year's conference was held in Barcelona, Spain.
