Based on preliminary information, here is what The University of North Alabama knows about an incident that was reported on April 9, 2013.

UNA Police were called at 2:20 p.m. to take the report of a Robbery. The student reported that he was walking south on Willingham Road at approximately 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Hawthorne Street, when he stopped to talk to a black male subject, medium build, approximately 5'-11" tall, 185 pounds, with a mole on the bottom of his right jaw.  The suspect pushed the victim to the ground and stole his IPAD Mini which he was carrying in his hands.  The victim and his friend searched the area attempting to locate the suspect for 2 hours before notifying the UNA Police of the incident.
