FLORENCE, AL – The University of North Alabama will offer expanded online course options this fall for high school students. Almost 100 general education courses will be offered to eligible high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors, including eight courses designed and designated specifically for students at their grade levels.

“We know that many students as well as their families are looking for additional learning opportunities this fall, and UNA is prepared to offer a variety of options to meet the needs of high school students” said Dr. Katie Kinney, Dean of the College of Education and Human Sciences. “Taking an online course at UNA this fall will have a lasting effect as students will earn college credit and accelerate their paths to college graduation.”

UNA has a long history of offering online courses, which ensures quality instruction.

“The University is well-equipped to offer quality online learning experiences for students,” said Dr. Amber Paulk, Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and Dean of Graduate and Online Education. “More than half of our award-winning faculty teach online courses using the latest advancements in their respective disciplines to offer the same high-quality learning experiences that are offered on campus.”

The cost to enroll is $375 per course, and students may enroll in two per semester. To get started, visit www.una.edu/earlycollege.
