UNA Office of Student Media To Host Open House April 27

FLORENCE, Ala. – The Office of Student Media at the University of North Alabama will host an open house event April 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in its new office at 643 N. Wood Ave.  UNA’s Student Media is home to The Flor-Ala campus newspaper and Diorama yearbook.
 
The Flor-Ala and Diorama staffs relocated from their former residence on Irvine Avenue to their new office in early January. The new office, which was once a forensic science building, has been completely renovated to fit the needs of both publication staffs.
 
The open house will allow UNA students, faculty and staff to get a look at the new Student Media building, eat free ice cream, pick up a copy of the 2012 Diorama yearbook and get the last issue of the 2011-2012 Flor-Ala newspaper.
