UNA Strategic Diversity and Inclusion Plan
As noted in the new five-year “2019-2024 Roaring with Excellence” University Strategic Plan, the third theme highlights Diversity and Inclusion.
The University of North Alabama’s uniquely diverse demographics combined with the University’s authentic desire to be more inclusive offer a chance to craft new models of institutional change. Our goal is to enhance UNA's role in our region as an equitable and inclusive campus – one that encompasses acceptance and respect, understanding each other, and embracing and celebrating the rich dimensions of diversity within each individual. Below, we present to you the new Strategic Diversity and Inclusion Plan: 2020-2025, Model for Academic Excellence Through Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
