Panhellenic Council

The Panhellenic Council is an organization of National Greek letter sororities whose purpose is to direct the goals of the sorority system and serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas. The governing group at the university of North Alabama consists of two representatives from each of the Panhellenic sororities who establish guidelines for all sororities and promote benefits of being a member of the Greek system at UNA. The council strives to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation among the scholastic and social standards and to promote loyalty and service to the University of North Alabama. The council sponsors a variety of service and social events each year. Panhellenic unity shows that sorority women are not only sisters to the members of their own sorority but also to every other Greek woman, regardless of the letters she wears.
