Chi Sigma Iota – (Counseling Academic and Profession Honor Society) The Upsilon Nu Alpha Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota honors those who excel in the field of counseling, whether it be academic or professional. The society promotes scholarship, research, and professionalism while recognizing the pursuit of academic and clinical excellence.
Culinary Arts Club - To provide culinary arts students to participate in departmental and community activities; to promote scholarships and career choices in the field of culinary arts at UNA Human Environmental Sciences.
Fashion Forum - Educational speakers who help students outlook are the focus of Fashion Forum. The organization is centered around fashion merchandising and interior design. Fashion Forum also offers a scholarship fund in order to supply financial assistance to students who are in need. Participation in various community service projects is encourages by the group.
Human Environmental Sciences Club – The Human Environmental Sciences Club strives to improve the quality of individual and family life through education, cooperative programs, and public information. Human Environmental Sciences integrates knowledge from the basic disciplines to solve everyday problems of families. Majors in Human Environmental Sciences are invited to become members of the club. The club develops leadership among its members. Monthly meetings feature guest speakers, and members are encouraged to attend state and national HES conferences.
K-6 Educational Professional – K-6 provides an opportunity for interaction among elementary, early childhood, and special education majors and their professors. In addition, the organization serves as a forum for distributing information about the teaching profession. Professionalism and excellence in teaching are the major goals of the group. All education majors are welcome to join K-6.
Kappa Delta Pi – (Education) Excellence and outstanding contributions to education are addressed by membership in Kappa Delta Pi. Membership is available to juniors majoring in education.
National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) - NKBA's endorsed college program was created to serve the professional needs of the industry and ensure consistent, quality education for students who desire to become kitchen/bathroom design professional. Each student must complete classroom work and supervised internships, which will enhance and extend the classroom experiences and ensure that they have fulfilled the minimum student competencies.
Secondary Education Association – Secondary Education Association provides through the organization a means to encourage interaction among education majors, a forum for disseminating information relative to the teaching profession, and to promote professionalism and excellence in the teaching profession. Membership applies to any duly registered student who is a Secondary Education Major who is interested in the activities and functions purposed for the organization. http://www.una.edu/sea
