Emry K. Bryan '07

Emry Bryan graduated from the University of North Alabama in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in the Science of Nursing. During her nursing career she worked in Labor and Delivery at Huntsville Hospital for 9 years and then as a school nurse for 6 years at Heritage Elementary in Madison City.
Emry transferred to UNA in 2004 after finishing her first collegiate season on UAB’s Cross Country and Track teams. Excited to be a UNA Lion, Emry was part of UNA’s Cross-Country team and ran Cross-Country for UNA for the next three years. During that time, she earned the title of 3-time All-American Athlete for NCAA Division II National Championships. She is the only female athlete to be selected three times as the school’s Female Athlete of the Year (2005-07). She was later inducted into the UNA Hall of Fame in 2018. Emry was a member of UNA’s Alpha Gamma Delta sorority, along with her sister, Jody McKay Byrd – an AGD president.
Emry lives in Huntsville, AL with her husband, Sam Bryan - formerly a UNA golfer, and their two daughters, Warren Kathleen and Collins Elizabeth. Emry is currently a Loan Officer with Southern Fidelity Mortgage Group and is involved in her community and church.
