We will begin accepting loft kit requests for Fall 2023 on July 15, 2023 at 10am. Any request prior to July 15th at 10am will be voided without notification. 

Availability

Loft kit requests for Mattielou, Olive, Hawthorne, Covington, Appleby East and Appleby West Halls may be submitted if the student has an approved application and contract. The remaining residence halls have beds that can be raised without a loft kit. 

Requesting A Loft Kit

Loft kits are available to residents by reservation and dependent upon availability. Please note that the cost of replacement for a loft kit is $175 so the requesting resident will be responsible for the maintenance, care, and proper return of the loft kit. Click HERE to reserve a loft kit.

Pickup & Removal

Based upon availability, all approved loft/bunk requests submitted by July 31, 2023 will be available upon move-in. Residents are responsible for picking the loft kit up upon check-in, installation of the kit, and removing the kit when returning. Students may request to return a loft kit throughout the academic year by submitting a Loft Kit Cancellation Form.

Installation

Installation must be completed by the resident and instructions are located here. 

Terms & Conditions

• Resident shall be responsible for and pay the repair costs of any damages to the Loft Kit except where such damage is the result of normal wear and tear of the Loft Kit. Replacement cost will also apply if residents fails to return the loft kit and all related pieces according to terms and conditions. 
• Replacement value of the Loft Kit is $175.
• In the event of product malfunction of the Loft Kit, the resident is responsible for informing Housing & Residence Life as quickly as possible. Housing & Residence Life will arrange for servicing or replacement of the Loft Kit.
• The resident agrees that the Loft Kit shall not be moved from one residence hall to another hall. 
• It is the responsibility of the resident to have the Loft Kit clean and in good repair at the end of this lease agreement. 
• Terms and conditions are in effect until the Loft Kit is returned to Housing & Residence Life.
• Resident is responsible for taking the Loft Kit apart and completing a Loft Kit Cancellation Form when it is ready to be returned.
