Center for Writing Excellence
Welcome to the web home of the University of North Alabama’s Center for Writing Excellence, housed in the
basement of Collier Library. The Center’s mission
is three-fold:
• to provide all UNA students with instruction and
writing resources;
• to provide UNA faculty with teaching resource support and professional development opportunities in Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) and Writing in the Disciplines (WID);
• and to facilitate and develop community-oriented programs
in writing, reading, and writing-as-critical thinking.
