What is TRIO?
UNA Student Support Services (SSS) is a federally-funded TRIO program designed to support participating students in successfully completing their undergraduate education. TRIO SSS student members benefit from innovative program resources, mentors, tutors and a highly dedicated program staff. Resources and opportunities are carefully designed to meet individual student needs.
Our mission is to help our students successfully navigate and complete their undergraduate program. UNA’s TRIO SSS program provides comprehensive academic support for students who are first generation, low income and/or have a documented disability. Our holistic approach is designed to promote retention and graduation.
