Academic and Student Affairs Committee Charge

To review, recommend, and report on policies in the following areas:
  1. Academic and/or Student Affairs issues as received from the Faculty Senate, Staff Senate, SGA, VPAA, VPSA, individual faculty or staff members, and other sources.
  2. Student recruitment, retention, and admissions
  3. Support of faculty research and continuing education of faculty. The Research committee reports to the Academic and Student Affairs Committee.
  4. To communicate its deliberations and findings to the President, and after discussion with the President, to the University community
