The Shoals Astronomy Club hopes to enhance the enjoyment of the hobby of amateur astronomy for its members. An amateur astronomer can be anyone from any walk of life and any background, from someone who watches meteor showers to advanced imaging of objects or even conducting research. We hope to allow our members to enjoy observing, public education, learn about recent scientific results and to obtain advice from more experienced members about equipment, software and good websites. You don't need a telescope to participate as our members enjoy sharing views through their equipment. Join us in exploring the Universe!
