Bio

I am an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator of Special Education within the College of Education and Human Sciences at UNA. I teach special education courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. I completed my PhD in Exceptional Education at the University of Central Florida in 2018. I have an M.A. in K-12 Special Education from Fairfield University, CT, and a B.A. in English from Rutgers University, NJ. I obtained my Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) in 2007. I have been in the field of special education for 25 years with a focus on students with moderate to severe disabilities, including those with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, and significant communication and behavioral challenges.
