Healthcare Heroes Plaza


The University of North Alabama has a long and proud history of alumni and friends who serve as healthcare professionals. Our graduates and friends proudly serve with dedication and determination as public health professionals in communities locally, nationally, and globally to protect the most valuable of all resources – people.

To recognize, honor, and memorialize Healthcare Heroes – the thousands of alumni and friends who are serving in a health-related field – the University of North Alabama has established Healthcare Heroes Plaza at the entrance of Harrison Hall. Healthcare Heroes Plaza offers alumni and friends of the University an opportunity to provide healthcare heroes with lasting tributes, forever etching their names in the plaza, while providing resources to meet the greatest needs and emerging priorities of the Anderson College of Nursing and Health Professions.
