Here is a quick guide on how to set up your index page with the new header option. Follow the steps below and you will have a new header for your index page!

First there are some requirements:

  • This can only be applied to the index page. (This page is easy to find it is the one labeled as "index" in your subsection)
  • If you have a pre-existing index page that you would like this to be done on then please email us, we will provide you access.
  • If you're making a new subsection with a new index page the new header option will be available for you to use.
  • Background image has to be published before it can be previewed within Cascade and on the live site.
  • Background image, Title, and at least one button  are required for the new header option.

Now let us create a new header for your new index page!

Step 1: Go to your new index page within Cascade and click the "Edit" tab at the top of the preview page.

Step 2: If the page you are working on is a new index page then you will have the header option available for you to use. If you are working with an pre-existing index page, please email us and we will set it up for you. Here is a picture of what the Header dropdown will look like.

Step 3: When you select the dropdown, the header options will show. For the header to be seen in the preview the "Display" button will need to say "yes". The header also requires an image for the Background, a Title, and at least one button. You also have the option to be able to link maximum number of three items with the buttons option. Here is an image to help you see the options:

After you fill out the boxes with your desired information and you set to display then you are set to go!
