Nicholas Mauriello

Bio
Dr. Nick Mauriello joined the faculty at the University of North Alabama in 2005 and has been honored with the 2011 Eleanor P Gaunder Phi Kappa Phi Excellence in Teaching Award and the Laura Harrison Distinguished Professor of English in 2007 and 2011. He is also co-editor of Marginal Words, Marginal Work: Tutoring the Academy in the Work of Writing Centers, recipient of the International Writing Centers Association Scholarship Award for Outstanding Book in 2007; Remapping Narrative (2008, Hampton); Before and After the Tutorial: Writing Centers and Institutional Relationships (2011, Hampton); and Texts of Consequences (Hampton, 2012). Dr. Mauriello has more than 25 years of experience as a scholar, editor, and writing program administrator, most notably serving as the editor of the Research and Teaching in Rhetoric and Composition series for the Hampton Press from 2013 to 2017.
