Fines and Payment

If you have received a ticket, you will find all the information on how and when to pay, as well as all the information and options regarding your ticket on this page. Check your ticket carefully, as the Florence Parking Enforcement also issues citations on the streets around UNA, and those tickets are NOT payable at Transportation Services.

The fine schedule for violation of UNA parking and traffic regulations is as follows:

Handicapped Parking


Blocking Fire Hydrant or Fire Lane


Parking on Yellow Curb


Remove Traffic Boot


Parking in Prohibited Zone


Parking in Undesignated Area


Improper Display of Permit


No Valid Permit Displayed


Exceeding Business Zone Time Limit


Improper use of Motorcycle Space


Blocking or Parking in a Travel Lane


Parking in Area not designated for parking (No Space)


Parking Vehicle Straddling or Crossing space line (Two Spaces)


Park Against Flow of Traffic


Park on Sidewalk or Crosswalk


Late Fee (per ticket)


Ticket Payment Instructions

You have 10-business days from the issuance of any citation to pay your ticket, or to appeal your ticket at Ticket Appeals if you feel it was issued in error. Any citation paid after the 10th business day will be required to pay an additional $10 LATE FEE and will not be eligible for appeal.

All University Students and Employees that have not paid or appealed their ticket within the 10-business day allotment will have a “HOLD” placed on their University account. All fines and late fees must be paid in full for the “HOLD” to be removed.

Business Days refer to the days that the University offices are open. This excludes weekend and University defined holidays.


American Express is not accepted.

Pay Online – You may submit your payment online with credit or debit card from our home page at Online Ticket Payments . You will need information from your citation to complete your transaction online.

Pay in Office – We accept cash, check, credit/debit card, money order, and Mane Card (Lion Loot) in office at Transportation Services in the GUC (Guillot University Center) on the lower level.

Pay by Mail – Check or money orders may be mailed to:

University Transportation Services, UNA Box 5067 Florence, AL 35632-0001.Please include ticket number and University ID # if applicable.
