Deborah received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work and M.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Alabama, and Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law. She is also a graduate of the National Judicial College.

Ms. Paseur is a Partner at Johnson, Paseur & Medley, LLC and served as District Judge, Lauderdale County, AL, 1981 – 2008.  She is a certified mediator with the Alabama Alternative Dispute Resolution Center.  Currently she is a member of the Alabama and Lauderdale County Bar Associations, Alabama District Judges Association, and the Children’s Code and Adoption Committee and Family Law Committee of the Alabama Law Institute.  Ms. Paseur is a member of the UNA President’s Cabinet.
