Marty Abroms '81

Abroms graduated from the University of North Alabama in 1981. He received two top awards from UNA, including the Turis Fidelas (highest GPA) and the Keller Key (top service award). Additionally, Abroms received the Elijah Watt Sells Award which is awarded by the American Institute of CPAs to the top 100 candidates who take the entire CPA exam at once and received the highest score. Abroms started his career after graduation at KPMG, an international accounting firm. Four years later, Abroms went on to be a corporate officer for the Anderson Companies, a group of companies with business interests in wholesale distribution, retail, publishing, and real estate. In 1995, Abroms founded Abroms & Associates, P.C., Florence, Alabama. Today, Abroms is currently active with several nonprofit charities and the Shoals Chamber of Commerce. Abroms also serves on the UNA Board of Trustees.
