Thomas S. White received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina and his MBA from Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration. He is presently retired after 40 years of management experience but does continue to do consultant work. He was President and owner of Tennessee Valley Marble and served as Executive Vice President of Scovill Inc. and as CEO for Monarch Tile, CharBroil Grills, and Yale Security Products. He has been on the Board of Directors for UNA College of Business, United Way of the Shoals (served as President), YMCA of the Shoals, Shoals Chamber of Commerce and On Stage. White is a member of the UNA President’s Cabinet.
