‘How I Learned To Drive’ Takes Stage at UNA April 9-11

FLORENCE, Ala. – “How I Learned to Drive,” winner of the 1998 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, will take stage at the University of North Alabama. Show time is 7:30 each evening April 9-11 in Norton Auditorium. Tickets are $5 for students and UNA employees and $10 for the general public.

“How I Learned to Drive” explores the troubled relationship of a young woman and her uncle and how the innocence of teenage driving lessons turn into sexual manipulation and molestation. This landmark play of contemplative theatre and feminist drama contains adult language and sexual subject matter that may be offensive to some audience members.

The play is being produced with Dramatist Play Service Inc.
