Join us for the Women of Action speaker series sponsored by Community Service and Outreach, Mitchell-West Center for Social Inclusion, and the Women's Center! Inspirational women from the local community will be joining us to share their story about their careers, community impact, and life journey. These events will take place virtually each month at 5:30pm and will require a registration.

Tori Bailey is the president of the NAACP Tri-County Branch, Colbert County Commissioner, and owner and general manager of WZZA radio. She is determined, knowledgeable, and full of wisdom.
Chelsea is a University of North Alabama alumna with a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Writing and Marketing. She is a lifelong resident of the Shoals and is a leader, advocate, and champion of community change.
Andrea has a love for non-profit work. She is a leader and community advocate and is passionate about educating people on topics related to child abuse and child safety, volunteerism, human trafficking, poverty and more.
Gabriela is a community activist, graduate of the University of North Alabama, and former president of Equality Shoals. She has served as a board member of Project Say Something, and is now continuing her work as an activist and advocate in Portland, Oregon.
Randa is the youngest city council member in the Shoals area and one of the few females in office. Her campaign experience is one for the books! She is a marketing professional and the president-elect for the Shoals Young Professionals group.
Trinda is a community educator and UNA alum. She spends her time advocating for and empowering today's youth and is the founder of the iStand Foundation. Her social work heart makes her a force to be reckoned with.
Dr. Pat Sanders is the current department chair for the Department of Communications at the University of North Alabama. She's an advocate, a public relations expert, world traveler, mentor, podcast host, and so much more.
