Spanish for the Clinical Encounter Program

Please fill out the application below for the Spanish for the Standardized Clinical Encounter Micro-credential Program. This Micro-credential is designed only for currently practicing healthcare professionals who are involved in the confidential clinical encounter (i.e. consultation room, hospital room) on a regular basis and need basic Spanish communication skills. It is a good fit for doctors, nurses, and medical assistants, but not for office workers at doctor's offices, or for aspiring medical translators/interpreters.  This Micro-credential will not count toward a major or minor in Spanish, and it is not for undergraduate students pursuing a degree.
