The CTL supports faculty in developing their teaching practice, advancing student learning, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement across campus. Our faculty programs recognize and invest in the instructors who make that happen.
The Center for Teaching and Learning is launching the 2026–2027 CTL Faculty Fellows Program and Faculty Presenter Series. These programs recognize and support full-time faculty of any rank who are engaged in advancing teaching and learning across the institution.
Both pathways recognize faculty as leaders in teaching and learning and provide resources, collaboration, and recognition for that leadership. Whether you have a year-long initiative in mind or a single session worth sharing with colleagues, there is a place for you in these programs.
Faculty Programs
Faculty Fellows
Program
Faculty Fellows undertake a year-long project aligned with CTL priorities, working closely with CTL staff and serving as campus leaders in advancing teaching and learning.
- Full academic year commitment (August 2026 – May 2027)
- 5–8 hours per week of project work
- Develop resources and programming for campus audiences
- Culminates in a final project report and presentation
- Two positions available per year
Faculty Presenter
Series
Faculty Presenters share their expertise through focused workshops, roundtables, or talks open to the campus community, contributing to a culture of collegial learning.
- Single session commitment
- In-person delivery to campus audiences
- Topics range from AI literacy to accessible teaching
- Materials contributed to the CTL resource repository
- Approximately six slots per semester
