TRIO SSS Eligibility Criteria

Students must meet at least one of the following qualifications to be eligible for the TRIO SSS program:
- First-Generation college student (if you lived with both parents/guardian neither parent has a bachelor’s degree; if you lived with only one parent, that parent does not have a bachelor’s degree.)
- Documented Disability (registered with UNA’s Disability Support Services)
- Demonstrate Economic Need (based on household taxable income)

If you meet the eligibility requirements, the first step is to apply to the TRIO SSS program. A TRIO SSS staff member will contact eligible students with the next steps after screening their application. After you are accepted, you can begin participating in the program and utilizing the services we offer.
