The Center for Teaching and Learning is launching the 2026–2027 CTL Faculty Fellows Program and Faculty Presenter Series. These programs recognize and support full-time faculty of any rank who are engaged in advancing teaching and learning across the institution.

Faculty Fellows work with the CTL in support of the CTL’s mission and the university’s strategic plan. Both pathways recognize faculty as leaders in teaching and learning and provide resources, collaboration, and recognition for that leadership.

About the Faculty Fellows Program

Faculty Fellows undertake a year-long project aligned with CTL priorities, serving as campus leaders in advancing teaching and learning. During the 2026–2027 academic year, selected Fellows work closely with CTL staff on initiatives aligned with CTL strategic priorities or a focus area proposed by the applicant and approved by CTL.

Fellows develop and share resources that benefit faculty across campus, build their expertise in teaching and learning, and contribute to the CTL’s mission.

The program culminates in a final project report and presentation to campus that documents outcomes, recommendations, and reflections.

Faculty Fellow Priority Areas

Project topics may include, but are not limited to:

Artificial Intelligence & Digital Literacy
Effective Teaching Strategies
Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL)
Research That Informs Teaching & Learning
Universal Design for Learning & Accessible Teaching

Institutional Effectiveness
