Admitted Student Day is an exciting day-long event designed to welcome accepted freshmen and transfer students to campus and help them get a feel for university life. The day begins with a brief welcome session and a presentation covering the next steps for admitted students, including applying for housing and information on academic advising and summer orientation. Family members will then hear from various campus departments while students participate in interactive activities with the academic college of their choosing. Guests then have the option to choose from a variety of sessions, including Financial Planning, Fraternity & Sorority Life, Bands and Choirs, Campus Tours, and more! You can also visit the drop-in session for ROAR & Housing registrations, Financial Aid assistance, and general admissions questions. End the day with the Res Hall Crawl to explore residence halls.
Check-in for Admitted Student Day will take place in Norton Auditorium so we recommend parking in Lot K off of Pine Street or Lot AA on the corner of Pine St. and W Irvine Ave. However, Admitted Student Day guests can park in any available on-campus lot. Please familiarize yourself with the campus and parking lots before your visit by viewing our online campus map!
Admitted Student Day is a campus-wide event. Because of this, we recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Admitted Student Day is happening rain or shine, so make sure to check the weather forecast and consider bringing an umbrella, just in case!
