Dave moved to Florence, Alabama from Birmingham, Alabama in 1985. He is a graduate of Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. He is President of B.H. Craig Construction Co., Inc. He is a member and elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Florence, a member of the Florence Rotary Club and currently serves on the Salvation Army Board. In the past he has served on the Board of the Children’s Museum of the Shoals and assisted with the United Way Campaign Drive. He is a member of the UNA President’s Cabinet.
