Jim Page '01
Jim Page ’01 graduated with a degree in Political Science and Marketing. Page also served as Student Government Association President while at UNA. Page is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama. He serves as lead spokesman for the Chamber on all public policy issues, economic development projects and strategic community initiatives. In 2009, Page was recognized nationally by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives as one of 40 Under 40: Rising Stars of the Chamber World. He received the 2015 Jamie Wallace Award in recognition of “exceptional leadership, service and dedication to the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama” and was named the 2016 recipient of the prestigious Thompson/Seymour Leadership Award by the Business Council of Alabama.
Page was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Alabama Partnership for Children and is a member of the Alabama School Readiness Alliance Pre-K Task Force. He has also served two terms as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Morgan-Lawrence Chapter of the American Red Cross and led the establishment of the First Grace Child Development Center at the First United Methodist Church of Decatur, serving as its founding Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Page and his wife, Sara, also a UNA graduate, have one daughter and are expecting a second daughter in September.
