Juan Santiago '01
Juan Santiago graduated from the University of North Alabama in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Spanish. During his time at UNA he served as a Senator in the Student Government Association. Juan received a commission as an Army Second Lieutenant in the Army Field Artillery through the Reserve Officers Training Corps at UNA.
Juan has also earned a Masters of Arts in Procurement from Webster University’s George Herbert Walker Bush School of Business and Technology and a Masters of Business Administration from the Naval Postgraduate School.
Early in his career, Juan gained valuable leadership experience serving as a Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, Battery Commander, and Staff Officer at the Pentagon.
In 2018, Juan reported to Redstone Arsenal where he served with distinction as a Product Manager in Program Executive Office Missiles and Space. In 2021, Juan joined the United States Army Space and Missile Defense Command where he has direct oversight of the Ronald Reagan Ballistic Missile Defense Test Site.
Juan lives in Huntsville, AL, with his wife and daughters. His community involvement include the Association of the United States Army, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Field Artillery Association, Survivor Outreach Services, Knights of Columbus, and the University of North Alabama Foundation.
