Mike Washburn received his undergraduate degree in 1978 from the University of Alabama from and his MBA from UNA in 1982.  His recent positions include President, CEO, Chairman of the Board, and Advisor to the Board in banks in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida.  He currently serves as the President of Corporate Banking for Colony Bank in Atlanta, Georgia.  His former company, Cardinal Advisory Services, worked exclusively with community banks across the country in the areas of profitability enhancement, capital strategies, and strategic planning. 

Mike is a Past President of the Birmingham Tip Off Club, and former Board Member of Cornerstone Schools of Alabama, Birmingham Humane Society, and served as the Coaches vs. Cancer Celebrity Roast Chairman.  He was also a two-time finalist for the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year.  Mike is married to Marian, and they have one daughter Allyn.
