Steve Jager graduated from UNA in 1983 with a degree in Marketing and Management. He is currently the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Horizon Group of Companies. A Birmingham, Alabama native, Steve has held a variety of executive and senior managerial positions in the financial and manufacturing industries. Steve is also well known in the consulting community for his involvement in new business startups and venture capital negotiations. Steve was previously CEO and Primary Shareholder of Clark Substations Incorporated, President and Owner of Jager Consulting, and Retail Sales Manager with AmSouth Bank. Steve has also held executive positions with leading edge technology companies including Cloud Technologies and is a long-time real estate investor.

Steve has also been very active in philanthropic circles as the previous Crisis Center Board of Directors President, the previous Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Birmingham Board of Directors President, and as a United Way of Shelby County previous Campaign Chairman.

Steve is married to Annalisa Jager, ’91, and they have three sons: Reagan (Brittany), Jordan (Alex), and Alex. The Jagers reside in Birmingham, Alabama.
