Tracy Doughty '97

Tracy Doughty graduated in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and went on to receive two master’s degrees in Health Systems and Health Administration from the University of Alabama Birmingham. Mr. Doughty serves as the Senior Vice President of Operations at Huntsville Hospital. His primary responsibilities are to oversee operations at the Huntsville Hospital Downtown Campus.

Mr. Doughty has also served as Vice President of Emergency & Trauma Services and the hospital’s Physician Network as well as a variety of clinical and administrative roles at the hospital. He began his career at Huntsville Hospital in 1998 as a surgical/trauma nurse. Among other roles, he has worked in Human Resources as a recruiter and as a Planning Analyst in Administration.

Outside of his hospital responsibilities, Tracy served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Reserves for 6 years. He is also active in many local and regional organizations, serving on the boards of the following: Calhoun College Foundation, The Community Free Clinic, HEALS Clinic, The Committee of 100, and the Huntsville Housing Authority Advisory Board. He is a graduate of Leadership Huntsville/Madison County and Leadership Alabama. Tracy is married to Lakesha Ivy-Doughty and they have two children, Ty and Skylar.
