Uhland Redd is a lifelong resident of Florence, AL.  He attended Rhodes College and graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Business Administration and was commissioned a second lieutenant in the US Army. 

Redd owned and operated the Florence Lumber company, a 94 year old family business for 50 years.  An early member of the YMCA, he served as President of the Board.  He has been a member of the UNA President’s Cabinet since its inception.
