Lions Lend a Hand
Lions Lend a Hand is one of UNA's largest days of community service and volunteering. Students have the opportunity to come together to complete a project that serves the campus community. This year, we will be packaging sensory bags to distribute throughout campus that will help individuals with sensory needs and lesson the chance of sensory overload.
Event Schedule:
10:00am - 10:30am - Volunteer Check-In (Guillot University Center Atrium)
10:30am - 11:00am - Welcome Message from UNA's Disability Support Services
11:00am - 12:00pm - Pack 300+ sensory bags!
A volunteer t-shirt will be provided to the first 200 volunteers that check in! Lunch will also be provided following the event. This event is a great way to kick off the new semester and get to know others on campus all while doing something meaningful! UNA faculty, staff, and students are invited and encouraged to participate.
