Facility Management Assistant
HRL Summer Crew / Facility Management Assistant
HRL Summer Crew / Facility Management Assistants are undergraduate/graduate students who assists the Assistant Director of Housing with custodial and maintenance work. This position does require moderate lifting and cleaning.
Availability
Summer Crew typically work 10-25 hours between Monday-Friday during business hours and as needed on weekends and evenings.
FMA's typically work 15-20 hours between Monday-Friday during business hours (8-4:30pm) and as needed on evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning: apartment units, residential rooms, bathrooms, common areas, carpet, trash and recycling, university housing grounds, storage, closets, equipment, etc.
- Organization and Facility Management: maintenance requests, common area furniture, residential area furniture, supply management, filing and archives, etc.
- Special Projects: facility openings, closings, turnovers, camps, special events, furniture repair, etc.
- Other projects and duties as assigned by supervisor.
Remuneration
Summer Temporary Positions: Summer Housing Scholarship / $7.25 per hour / 10-25 hours per week depending on need and availability.
Facilities Management Assistant: $7.25 per hour (academic year work-study)
