Conversation Partners meets Tuesdays at 3 p.m. each week during the semester. Students meet in Collier Library Room 252 to talk while playing cards or board games. Sometimes there are special events like pumpkin carving or decorating gingerbread house. Conversations help students in the Academic English Program (AEP) practice informal English, but more importantly, it is a wonderful opportunity to meet people and build lasting relationships.
Purpose? Help AEP students improve their conversational English, give an opportunity to share your culture and learn another, and encourage international students to get involved in campus life.
When? Tuesdays 3:00-4:00 PM
Where? Collier Library Room 252
Who do I contact for information? Please contact the Academic English Program at or call the Office of International Affairs at (256) 765-4626 for information regarding Conversation Partners.
Participation in Conversation Partners can be counted as community/volunteer service and added to resume and experience.
