Here are some of the things we look for in applicants: 

• A memorable student. That student who just stands out during class, asking questions, leading discussion, turning in thoughtful assignments.
• Students engaged in research, attending academic conferences, studying abroad
• Students that participate in their community, assume leadership positions, serves their community
• Students that go beyond the basic requirements of a course and dig deeper into their discipline
• Students who are making As in your courses!
• Students who show the potential for graduate study and professional development
