The Certificate in Family Life Education (CFLE) is designed to create professionals who are prepared to teach individuals and families the knowledge and skills necessary to promote healthy family functioning. The CFLE is a national certification designated by the National Council on Family Relations. The certificate is offered completely online to accommodate working professionals and/or individuals who do not live in our area. The certificate is available to all majors on campus, as well as non-degree seeking students pursuing professional advancement. Completion of the certification will be noted on academic transcripts.

Certificate Requirements

The certificate is comprised of 27 hours of coursework and 3 credit hours of internship.
