A: The MS in Mathematics program provides students a mathematically rigorous foundation in graduate level pure and applied mathematics. While students may complete a limited number of elective credits in mathematical content courses whose scope is teaching mathematics, the focus of the program is not mathematics education.

Q: How are the courses administered?
A: All online, graduate mathematics courses at UNA are offered asynchronously, but not self-paced. What this means is that students are not required to be present for any regularly scheduled live class sessions but are still responsible for keeping up with assignments and due dates. Some classes may contain optional live sessions (such as instructor/TA office hours, review sessions, etc.)
