Overview

• Designed for grades 7 - 9
• 5-day day-camp
• Campers produce a laser show with music of their choice
• Students learn the science of light

Goals

• Allow students to understand the difference between sources of light
• Allow students to understand laser safety
• Allow students to understand how lasers are used in everyday life
• Allow students understand how to creatively combine music and lasers for vivid shows
• Allow students to work in teams to produce a show for others to enjoy

Creating a Laser Show

Students will create a laser show synchronized to music of their choice. it is a true STEAM experience

Format

• The students learn through instruction and interactive activities. Experiments create team building.  All supplies are provided.
• The final product many be submitted to the national Laser Show Design contest
