Welcome to the Department of Psychology and Sociology. We offer two major degree programs for undergraduate study in the disciplines of Sociology and Psychology.

The mission of the Psychology program is to help students achieve their personal and professional potential by emphasizing the scientific study of human thought and behavior, promoting a spirit of active inquiry and critical thinking, and fostering a sense of social responsibility in the global community.

The mission of the Sociology program is to help students acquire critical thinking and analytical skills grounded in the sociological perspective. These are essential tools that today’s leaders in any sector and career must have to understand social phenomena, group dynamics, and socio-cultural forces behind our collective and individual behaviors and interactions in society.

We also offer a masters program in Family and Community Services which is offered fully online.
